Music Makers

The Group meets on the first Monday and third Tuesday of each month in the Methodist Hall, Shepherds Lane at 10am to make music together. We currently number 8 players:
flute, oboe, 3 violins, saxophone, clarinet & cello,
but would welcome a few more, even if you have not touched your instrument for many years, ever since, perhaps, you played it in your childhood.

We have been working on a suite of Baroque dances, and on an arrangement for small groups of some well known (easy!) classical pieces. Our first tentative public appearance was to play a few carols at the BF U3A Christmas Social in 2006.
